Travis was linked to the attempted murder and rape (and arson) of Lydia Tillman who narrowly survived his attack. After this arrest, he also admitted to raping and strangling Kenia Monge.

According to Oxygen,  Along with pleading guilty to Monge’s murder, Forbes agreed to show investigators where he had buried her remains. He directed detectives to a small grove of trees near an interstate in neighboring Keenesburg, about 40 miles outside of Denver. Her body was unearthed by crime scene analysts hours later.

James Eagan Holmes is a serial killer in the United States, that is still living. They have killed in the state of Colorado . He was sentenced to 12 life sentences plus 3,318 years without parole. He entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity, which was accepted.

According to Wiki, On December 4, 2015, Judge Carlos Samour ordered Holmes to pay $955,000 in restitution to the victims. The judgment ordered $851,000 of the restitution to be sent to the state victim compensation fund, and $103,000 to be paid directly to the victims.

James Eagan Holmes may be included even though they do not technically meet the requirements for two or more killings in more then one event. Spree shooters, mass killers, and organized crime leaders may be included due to the volume or savagery of their crimes.
