His appeal includes: Defendant Anthony Balaam appeals from theN.J.S.A.2C:11-3(a)(1) and (2), and aggravated sexual assaults, N.J.S.A.2C:14-2(a), of four prostitutes in the Trenton area between 1994 and 1996. He was spared the death penalty by the jury and, on January 26, 2001, was sentenced to four consecutive life terms, each with thirty years of parole ineligibility. We affirmed defendant's conviction and sentence on direct appeal in an unpublished opinion. State v. Balaam, No. A-3688-00 (App. Div. May 16, 2003), certif. denied, 177 N.J.496 (2003). In his PCR appeal, defendant argues that his trial and appellate attorneys were ineffective. After reviewing the record in light of the contentions advanced on appeal, we affirm.

Khalil Wheeler-Weaver New York

According to NBC 4 New York, Brown had last been seen in October of that year; her body was found in a vacant house in Newark a few months later. West, previously described by sources as an escort, was living in Union Township at the time, and was reported missing as well. Wheeler-Weaver was also accused of attacking another 34-year-old woman who survived the attack, prosecutors say.

According to NJ.com, Lodzinski, 49, was arrested 25 years after Timothy's death, tried and convicted, although there was no physical evidence that tied her to the child's death. The state alleges she did not want to care for the child.

On  May  25,  1991,  defendant  Michelle  Lodzinski  reported that her  son, five-year-old   Timothy (Timmy) Wiltsey,went   missing   while   both were attending a  Memorial   Day   carnival  in  Sayreville.Search  efforts  began immediately, they became widespread,and descriptions of Timmy, the clothing and  Teenage  Mutant  Ninja  Turtles  (TMNT)  sneakers he  was  wearing,  and  his continued disappearance received national media attention.  In October 1991, a schoolteacher walking  in  the  area of Olympic  Drive,  near  the  Raritan  Center industrial complex in Edison,found a child's TMNT sneaker; believing it might be related to the case, he provided it to law enforcement authorities.Defendant had  worked  for  a  company  in  Raritan  Center  for  approximately  six  months  in the late 1980s.
