Syvasky L. Poyner Virginia

Syvasky L. Poyner is a serial killer in the United States, that is still living. He killed in the state of Virginia . He was sentenced to death and  Executed by electrocution in Virginia on March 18, 1993

According the state,  A chaplain read a statement from Mr. Poyner that expressed hope for healing "every hurt that has ever been done." The statement said, "I choose to forgive, and I ask to be forgiven."  

His appeal includes:

In three separate trials, Syvasky Lafayette Poyner was convicted of the capital murders of five women. He was sentenced to death for each offense. The five death sentences are before the Court pursuant to the automatic review provision of Code § 17-110.1. We have consolidated Poyner's appeals of his convictions with our automatic review of his death sentences and have given the cases priority on the docket.

Syvasky L. Poyner may be included even though they do not technically meet the requirements for two or more killings in more then one event. Spree shooters, mass killers, and organized crime leaders may be included due to the volume or savagery of their crimes.
