Amy Bishop is best known for the murder of her colleagues at University of Alabama in Huntsville, however she also killed her brother in a shooting "accident" in New England, along with other isolated incidents of violence. Clearly she was a troubled individual that no one considered as dangerous as she was.
Her victims include: Gopi Podila , Maria Ragland Davis, Adriel D. Johnson, Sr., Luis Rogelio Cruz-Vera, Joseph G. Leahy and Stephanie Monticciolo. Cruz-Vera, Leahy, and Monticciolo survived the shooting. The others perished.
She was sentenced to life in prison.
